Country Haven is a Singapore-based furniture store specialising in solid teakwood furniture since 1997, with a focus on durability, craftsmanship and material quality.
We work primarily with teakwood sourced from Indonesia, producing furniture built for long-term use. Each piece is made with careful attention to structure and proportion across key categories such as dining tables, cabinets, sofas and storage solutions.
Teakwood is valued for its strength, stability and natural grain. Rather than focusing on fast production or trend-based designs, we place emphasis on material selection, joinery and finishing, resulting in furniture that maintains its form and character over time.
As teakwood is a natural material, each piece carries its own variation in grain, tone and texture, giving every item a distinct identity rather than a uniform appearance.
The wood is kiln-dried and air-dried to reduce warping and cracking, improving structural consistency while allowing the material to age naturally.
Customisation is an integral part of what we offer.
We build furniture based on required dimensions and designs, using traditional joinery techniques to ensure strength and longevity. Each custom piece is crafted entirely from solid teakwood, without the use of particle board, plywood or veneer.
This allows for better structural integrity and consistency across different furniture types.
We focus on producing solid teakwood furniture that maintains its structure and performance over time, with attention given to how each piece fits within a space.
Our collection includes sofas and benches, dining tables, chairs, cabinets, bookshelves, TV consoles and storage pieces, along with custom-made options tailored to specific layouts and requirements.
